4. Ask students how well they think the goal fits each SMART criteria. Have them show their response with a fist-to-five. 5. Revise the goal until it fits the SMART goal sheet. (print for this week if you need one, we will have them printed for the binders for coming weeks) WEDNESDAY

Norm Setting: Establish studio time expectations (10 minutes) We have a writing task in Advisory today. It requires studio time. When you are working, what are the things that help you focus? What distracts you? What should our studio time look like? What can you do when you finish your work if other students are still working? Letter Writing: (10 min. discussion + 30 min studio time) Discuss: When was the last time that you wrote a letter to someone? (NOT an email. An actual letter.) How is writing a letter different than writing an email or texting? What situations call for a letter instead? Studio Time: Write a letter to your advisor to introduce yourself.
8:45 - Review the Schedule for today. After Lunch | Headlines - Why Advisory (Student Scribe) What activities have happened in Advisory in the past? What happens on a regular basis?
