Gathering: Circle Up & Share to Sit Share successes from the past week. Share struggles from the past week. Independent Work | PoL Scheduling Select two boxes on the back to reflect with. OR Start a new SMART Goal sheet. Goals should be long term (3-4 weeks), and focused on building or changing habits and routines rather than completing tasks. Goal Feedback/Suggestions: Every student should have a goal partner. Teachers should assign partners to ensure that everyone has a partner, but it may be beneficial for students to have some voice in who they are working with. Once partnered up, students should discuss their goals, and offer suggestions to each other to help a goal be successful. Ticket Out: Verbal What was the best suggestion you received today? Different colleges have different expectations for ACT scores. As an example, UW-Green Bay has an average composite score acceptance of 18-25. (Average meaning that some students scored higher than 25, but some scored lower.) You can look up average acceptance for other universities online. Pass out ACT results. What do your results tell you? What goals might you set for yourself based on this information? Next Steps: 9th-11th grade will be doing ACT prep over the next few weeks.
